My Approach to Writing YA Sports & Girls Fantasy

My approach to writing Young Adult sports-centric works and girls fantasy literature is driven by a desire to blend action-packed narratives with deep emotional resonance. In my sports-centric stories, I aim to capture the intensity and camaraderie of athletic competition, but also to explore the personal struggles and triumphs of young athletes. I want to show the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices they make, while also highlighting the friendships and teamwork that make sports so meaningful.

In my girls fantasy literature, I focus on creating strong, complex female characters who navigate magical worlds filled with challenges and wonder. I’m drawn to themes of empowerment, resilience, and self-discovery, and I want to offer stories that inspire young girls to embrace their own strengths and potential. I believe it’s crucial to provide diverse representation and showcase a wide range of female experiences.
