Hey everyone! Get ready for an amazing adventure because I’m so thrilled to introduce Moonfall: The Sefer Ha’llham Prophecy, the very first book in my brand-new fantasy trilogy for girls!
Imagine building your very own secret world, just like making up a super cool game with all your friends. That’s what I did for Moonfall! I absolutely love reading stories where authors create whole new places with their own rules and wonders, kind of like J.R.R. Tolkien did with his amazing Middle-earth. I wanted to make a world that felt brand new and super exciting for all of you to explore!
Now, for the really fun part: the magic! You know how in some stories, spells use Latin words? Well, I wanted my magic to be extra special and different! I have a HUGE passion for old, old languages and ancient cultures – it’s like discovering secret codes from long, long ago! So, in Moonfall, instead of Latin, my characters use a super cool, ancient spellbook with magic words from places like ancient Babylon, ancient Egypt, and even ancient Sanskrit! Isn’t that neat? It makes the magic feel truly unique and gives my world a special sparkle!
When I was little, I loved reading about awesome girls who went on big adventures, like Pippi Longstocking, Madeline, and Nancy Drew! They were so brave and clever, and they showed me that anyone can be a hero, no matter what! I want the girls in Moonfall to be just as inspiring, full of courage and wonder. I hope you have as much fun reading their story as I did creating it!
